The Estate on Second is one of my favorite venues at the moment – something about its historic charm and presence is just so alluring. Sally & Tam sure know how to pick ’em – this wedding was so ridiculously fun and filled with beautiful moments and details! And if I ever thought that working with high-school sweethearts was rare enough, these two have broken the mold, as middle-school sweethearts who are now Mr. & Mrs. There’s nothing quite like it!
Every single detail these two picked out was just adorable…down to the little note on each lace garter – “I do” and “You’re next.”
And Sally’s stunning Watters Too gown deserves a blog post of its own. Feast your eyes on the intricate lace and beading with layers and layers of lovely tulle…just perfection.
The indoor ceremony against the brick walls and exposed beam ceilings of The Estate on Second was stunning, and little Kyle riding down the aisle in his Ferrari with the ring box was a surprise everyone absolutely loved!
And in one of the most efficient room flips I’ve witnessed, the ceremony space was turned into this elegant reception area – voila! I love the couple’s DIY wood planter boxes, which they built and wood-burned their initials into.
A night filled with dancing (some done without shirts), laughter, delicious sweets (& cigars), and a fantastic sparkler ending (oh, and our giant LOVE sign!)…seriously, it couldn’t get any better than this.
So lucky to have worked with a phenomenal group of vendors!
